OR Click the Clock in the lower, right corner, and select "Screen Capture".
Select the Partial Screenshot option on the menu bar.
Then select the area that you want to copy.
It will automatically save to your "Downloads" folder (and it will be stored on the clipboard memory.)

Hold down the power button and the volume-down button simultaneously.

Press [Windows]+SHiFT+4 or [Windows]+SHIFT+S
Select the Partial Screenshot option.
Drag your mouse across the area that you want to select.
It will be automatically saved to your pictures folder, possibly in a subfolder called "Screenshots".

Select the Partial Screenshot option on the menu bar.
Select the area that you want to capture.
Click "Capture" to take the picture.
Macbook Keyboard

It depends on the generation.
Press the power button and the volume-up button simultaneously. (Note: if you have an older iPhone that has a Home button, press the power button and Home button instead.)
There is also an Apple Tool Box that has a button for screenshots. It's in the TOOLS.
